Abyssal Escape Fleetway Guide: Flight, Laser & Grab Combos
How Fleetway Super Sonic plays in Abyssal Escape: flight slam, long-range laser and the grab-and-drag combo, plus the phase 3 speed buff and counterplay for survivors.
Fleetway Super Sonic is the least complicated killer in Abyssal Escape, and also one of the strongest. There is one move set, no transformation, and a single phase 3 buff — but the three abilities chain into each other so well that simplicity stops mattering. This is the killer you pick when you want to win by aiming and positioning rather than by memorising a resource system.
The kit
| Ability | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Flight | Airborne movement; reveals every survivor while airborne; ground slam knocks back and damages | Stamina |
| Laser | Long-range aimed projectile | Stamina |
| Grab | Close-range hold that deals slow damage over time | Stamina |
Note that Fleetway has no heat or resource bar. Everything is stamina, which means the same bar you use to M1 is the bar you use to fly. That is the entire skill ceiling of the killer: deciding when flying is worth losing your next swing.

Flight is both mobility and radar
Taking off reveals every survivor on the map, exactly like Furnace's thruster flight. That makes flight the strongest information tool Fleetway has, and it is the reason good Fleetway players take off constantly even when no one is nearby.
The offensive half is the slam. Flying into the ground near a survivor knocks them back and deals damage, which is how you break a loop without committing to a risky M1.
The laser is the range answer
Fleetway is the only killer with a genuine long-range option. The laser requires real aim and deals damage over distance, so it covers the one thing melee kits cannot: a survivor who has already opened a gap and is running for a mist patch.
Do not spam it. Missing costs stamina you needed for the flight that would have closed the distance properly.
The grab is where the damage comes from
On its own the grab is weak — it deals damage slowly over time, and a survivor being held is usually being held near their team. The damage in this kit comes from combining the grab with flight: pick someone up, fly them away from their teammates, and slam them into a wall.
That combo does three things at once. It removes the survivor from healing range, it converts the grab's slow damage into burst damage off the wall, and it forces the rest of the team to abandon objectives to follow. Against an uncoordinated lobby this ends matches on its own.
Phase 3
Fleetway gets one buff: a major movement speed increase. No new abilities, no transformation. Combined with flight, it makes the last stretch of a match almost impossible to loop, which is why survivors are advised to stay grouped and heal each other rather than run solo.
Survivor counterplay
- Never heal alone. A solo heal is a free grab, and a grab plus flight is a free wall slam.
- Spread when you hear the takeoff. Flight reveals everyone, so the killer already knows where you are — hiding is wasted time. Get to open ground where the slam is harder to land.
- Bait the laser. It costs stamina, and every miss is a flight the killer no longer has.
- Respect the wall. Fighting near a wall against Fleetway turns any grab into bonus damage.
Is Fleetway worth it?
If you want results with minimal practice, yes. Fleetway has the highest floor of the roster because the game plan is one sentence long: fly, find, grab, wall. The ceiling is lower than 2017X or NMI, since there is no transformation to master, but the phase 3 speed buff keeps it relevant right to the end of a match.
Fleetway also has a cosmetic variant, though it is only a slight recolour rather than a full reskin.

FAQ
Does Fleetway have a transformation?
No. Fleetway has a single move set across the whole match and only gains a speed buff in phase 3.
What is Fleetway's best combo?
Grab a survivor, fly them away from their team, then slam them into a wall. The grab's damage-over-time plus the wall impact is the kit's main burst.
How do survivors beat Fleetway?
Stay grouped, avoid healing alone, and bait the laser so the killer wastes stamina it needs for flight.
